Detroit Takes 2-0 lead

I’ve heard so many people already complaining about the final drive by LeBron James that Rip Hamilton was draped all over him, and the no call was the reason they lost the game. I can’t agree with that, referees don’t tend to ever call a foul in that situation they don’t want to decide the game.

Almost no one I’ve talked to blames it on the fact that the Cleveland Cavaliers only scored 26 points in the second half which is 8 points less then they scored in the second quarter. On top of this LeBron James’s support crew of Drew Gooden, Zydrunas Ilgauskas and Larry Hughes combined for just 11 points. Jason Maxiell came of the Detroit bench to score more points on his own.

I know not all Cleveland fans are crying about this but to the ones who are quit whining about it. This was a game they should have won, but they let it slip and it wasn’t because of one play that they lost this game.

Ronny Turiaf Heart of a Champion

This gentleman is an amazing inspiration to me, from going under the knife July 26th, 2005. Then not missing the upcoming season and playing with the energy and heart is absolutely amazing,

Turiaf is a cheerleader in hiding, he always shows amazing support for his team even when he is on the sideline. You don’t see this often enough anymore especially in the NBA. I hope for some child somewhere he is an inspiration for what kind of teammate they want to be.

I hope this next year in less the Lakers pull an a great big man that Ronny can get more playing time ahead of Kwame “Stone hands” Brown in order to develop.

Portland snags number one pick, are you joking?

The Celtics attempt at getting the number 1 pick by throwing games back fired. I’m quite happy actually I’ve never been a big fan of throwing games just to obtain a pick. The Portland Trail Blazers on the other hand some how defied the odds in the lottery and picked up the number one pick. This team already has a great young nucleolus that will only be strengthened with this pick. LaMarcus Aldridge, Jarrett Jack, Brandon Roy, Zach Randolph, and now and quite possible Greg Oden, or Kevin Durant this team will become a playoff contender sooner then later with the addition of either player.

Boston fans shouldn’t be worried yet, Greg Oden is most definitely out of the question. However there will still be some big men out there that can help this team although maybe not right away players like Yi Jianlian from China. Although he will be a bit of a project (what more could Boston really use right now) he lacks the upper body strength and doesn’t have the best moves in the post. He has nice stroke and can’t hit from 20 feet out comfortably.
